Data methodology

Last updated 5 October 2026

Sources we use

In order of preference:

  1. Official business school websites and their program and admissions pages.
  2. Official fee schedules and bursar or finance pages.
  3. Official scholarship pages.
  4. Accreditors' own directories (AACSB, EFMD/EQUIS, AMBA) — or the school's own accreditation statement, labelled by its source.
  5. Information submitted by an authorised school representative, verified before publication.

We do not copy other directories or ranking aggregators, and we never label their data as verified.

How a fact is verified

Every fact is stored with the URL it came from and a short verbatim quote from that page. An automated check fetches the page again and looks for the quote. Only facts whose quote is found — or that an editor has confirmed by hand — are shown. Each fact displays its source and the date it was last verified. Records older than twelve months are flagged for re-checking, and a new value that conflicts with a verified one is held for editorial review instead of overwriting it.

Unknown is not “no”

  • Missing test information is shown as “Not verified” — never as “GMAT not required”.
  • Missing scholarship information is not “no scholarships”.
  • Missing accreditation is not “unaccredited”.
  • Missing tuition is “Not published or not verified”, never zero.

Tuition

Fees keep the school's own applicant categories (for example in-state and out-of-state, home and overseas, domestic and international, or one fee for all), the amount or range, the currency, the period and the fee basis — entire program, per year, per semester, per credit or per module. A single fee that a school publishes for an intake, class or edition is shown as the programme fee. Where a school does not state the basis at all, we say so. Figures on different bases are never presented as comparable, and amounts are not converted between currencies. A total calculated from per-credit pricing is labelled “Calculated” with its assumption.

Admission tests

Each test has an explicit status: required, optional, waiver available, not required, one accepted test required, or not verified. The GMAT Focus Edition (205–805) and the classic GMAT (200–800) use different scales and are never compared as one number. Published minimums and class averages are labelled separately.

Deadlines

We record the intake, round, date and applicant group the school publishes. Past dates are shown as passed and are never rolled forward to the next year. A date published without a year is marked “Date not confirmed”.

Ordering and rankings

Results are listed alphabetically by school name (or by verification date if you choose). There is no site-owned quality ranking. Where a third-party ranking is shown, the publisher, edition and category are named and linked.

Program categories

Full-Time, Part-Time, Online and Executive MBA are discovery categories derived from three separate attributes — program type, study intensity and delivery mode — so they can overlap. An online Executive MBA appears under both Online and Executive. Executive MBAs are listed under Executive rather than Part-Time. Business master's degrees other than the MBA, and executive education certificates, are not listed.

Sponsorship

Sponsored placements are labelled, appear in their own slot, are shown only where their targeting matches the page, and never alter facts, verification or organic order. See advertising.

Corrections

Anyone can report a correction from a program or school page. Changes are made only after checking an official source. School representatives are verified through official institutional contact details before their requests are accepted.
